Mr. Rose
specializes in the evaluation, selection, and
implementation of college and university
information systems and improvements to
operational processes. His extensive experience
managing business systems projects for
educational institutions spans several years and
has included everything from requirements
analysis, proposal development, system
selection, business process analysis and design,
and system implementation and customization.
Mr. Rose has many other accomplishments to
his credit. He is a contributing author for the
reference book Selecting Software for
Non-profit Organizations and Trade Associations.
He has delivered many speaking engagements
including being a faculty member and speaker for
the CASE (Council for the Advancement and
Support of Education) Winter Institute for
Senior Advancement Services Professionals in
March 1998 where he spoke about managing
information systems implementations. He also
spoke about Fourth Generation (4GL) programming
languages and their applied use at the SCT/IA
Student Information Systems Users Conference,
March 1993 and February 1994.
Mr. Rose has been an active attendee and
participant in industry conferences and seminars
sponsored by the Datatel Users Group, the
California Community College Datatel Users
Group, CAUSE (the Association for Managing and
Using Technology in Higher Education), American
Management Association, Pacific Consortium of
College and University Business Officers,
Council for the Advancement and Support of
Education, National Association of College and
University Business Officers, and the American
Prospect Researchers Association.
Prior to co-founding Rose & Tuck, Mr. Rose
worked for KPMG Peat Marwick’s Higher Education
Consulting practice, the University of Redlands,
and in private industry. Mr. Rose holds a
Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and
Computer Science from the University of
Redlands.
